Remarks

Set one with TabControl.RenderingMode. The classic modes (TabControlRenderingMode.Default to TabControlRenderingMode.Diamond) colour the tabs with TabControl.TabItemPathBrush, TabControl.TabItemSelectedFill and the hover brushes; the modern ones from TabControlRenderingMode.Pill onwards are flatter and mark the selected tab with TabControl.TabItemAccentBrush or with the page colour.
